They realized with their business growing that their website had to evolve.
Build an integrated solution for CTI. First, develop a CMS to send information to their visitor site. Second, put the LMS into place for the student and class information. And third, design ways of pulling the data for printing materials on demand.
The CMS handles most of the website content. The LMS works with the CMS to deliver the training schedule to the visitor side of the website. They work together to mark classes as Spanish where appropriate and to present the number of days a course is. The LMS then provides the dates and times the class is available on the class details site page.
The LMS takes care of all the class details, scheduling of a class, student profiles and transcripts, class registration, instructor profiles, and building locations. You can even enter pre or postcourse materials to have them available online for each class.
We've built a number of powerful searches and reports. One report is a prior history report. Before a student takes certain classes they must complete initial classes (like a prerequisite). The prior history report allows the administrator to check off the students in the class and pull a prior history on each one. If a student doesn't have the appropriate credentials the administrator can send that students info to a faxable sheet to get their prior history from the department of health.
We also built them 2 postcard generators so they can create postcards off their online system and print them out in-house.
